Therapy is deeply personal, and it’s okay to outgrow a therapist or need a different approach as your healing continues. I highlight the growing visibility of ICBT (Inference-Based CBT) and metacognitive therapy, both of which are starting to gain traction as valid alternatives. I also share my thoughts on why labeling EMDR as “ineffective or harmful” can be misleading and hurtful to people who’ve found deep healing through trauma-informed approaches.
