Shame makes you question who you are. Whose you are.

You’re not alone. And this training was made for you.

Christians Learning ICBT

A 12-week training to overcome OCD and regain peace and trust.

Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ICBT) is an evidence-based approach that helps you step out of the OCD spiral without arguing with your thoughts or trying to push them away.

Instead of fighting your mind, you’ll learn how to understand it—so you can outsmart OCD, silence the doubt, and stand in God’s truth.

“ICBT is amazing and an answer to prayer. It gives the sufferer a solid understanding of their OCD, and a firm foundation to build a new life on.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/Exposure and Response Prevention just woke up my OCD brain … rather than settle it.

With ICBT my questions have been answered, settling my lifelong confusion about myself.

What You’ll Learn

OCD recovery isn’t about arguing with your thoughts. It’s about changing how you respond to them.

Recognize the Pattern

Get clarity on what OCD actually is and how it works.

  • Understand obsessional doubt and the mental loops it triggers.
  • Spot the logic traps OCD uses to pull you in.
  • See how everyday facts get twisted into fear-filled stories.

Disarm the Story

Learn to separate truth from fiction in your own mind.

  • Identify how OCD builds its case with emotion and imagination.
  • Recognize why OCD’s arguments feel real—but aren’t.
  • Discover the difference between the “OCD self” and your real self.

Ground in Reality

Get out of the OCD bubble and back into your body and your senses.

  • Train your brain to notice when you’re crossing into OCD territory.
  • Learn how to use your five senses to stay grounded.
  • Stop compulsions before they spiral.

Rewrite the Narrative

Create new mental pathways rooted in clarity, not fear.

  • Find out how to challenge OCD’s story without arguing with it.
  • Practice writing alternative, truth-based narratives.
  • Reconnect with your true self—beyond OCD.

Maintain the Change

Build resilience, prevent relapse, and move forward with confidence.

  • Understand what recovery really looks like.
  • Train you brain to manage stress without falling back into old patterns.
  • Feel equipped to keep growth in both faith and mental health.

They found healing. You can, too.

You don’t have to choose between treatment that works and a worldview that matters.

I don’t have to believe my OCD.

“This training helped me shift from believing my OCD and obsessional doubts, to seeing them as imaginal and irrational. Learning each module gave me a deeper understanding of why my intrusive and fearful thoughts seemed and felt so real at times, and gave me the tools needed to ignore their threats and recognize them as meaningless
As someone who already thinks deeply, I appreciate how ICBT breaks down the OCD process and the reason I don’t have to believe it or let it control me. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has been stuck in their thoughts and thank God for using this course to help in my healing journey.”

I now have the tools to walk through life in freedom in Christ.

“Carrie is a Christ follower who helps individuals struggling with OCD, and that is exactly what I needed!
I have never had someone understand what I am going through, but Carrie does and she approaches it with Christ like compassion and care. I am not healed from OCD, but I now have tools to walk through life in freedom in Christ.” – Jenna T.

Filled a huge gap.

“I was looking for support for myself and my husband (who has OCD) and it meant so much when I found you online because here’s a Christian counselor who knows ICBT! To have it taught accurately and applied with Christian values filled a huge gap.
When my husband actively and consistently applies it, ICBT helps him more than any other therapy. The course was really great and it helped him be more consistent. Due to how hard it is to retrain thinking and behaviors, he’s restarted the modules and exercises and is still getting benefit.”

I know I can find full healing in Christ.

“I am extremely thankful for the training and 100% recommend to anyone with OCD, particularly if other treatments haven’t been successful. Carrie is great at explaining OCD and how to unlearn faulty thinking from a Christian perspective, which I really needed. It takes a lot of commitment but it all pieces together perfectly. I’m working on the knowledge I have gained daily and know I can find full healing in Christ.”

    This is a safe space.

If you’re like most Christians with OCD, you’ve been suffering for far too long.

Often, people are too afraid—or too ashamed—to talk to anyone, not even their closest friends, about what they’re thinking and feeling. Even if they do seek support, it’s not easy to find the right professional. Their pastor can offer encouragement, but not clinical expertise. And many therapists use outdated treatment methods or devalue faith in their approach. Or both.

As more and more Christians with OCD found their way to my office, God’s calling became so clear: I had to find a way to help as many people as possible. That’s why I started my podcast, Christian Faith and OCD and why I created the Christians Learning ICBT training.

I want you to know that I understand the fears you carry and the theology you wrestle with. Whether your OCD centers on contamination, sexuality, religion, or something else entirely, I’m here for you—without judgment and with real tools to help.

I’ve seen what shame can do and what freedom looks like on the other side. I’d be so honored to walk you through this.

    How ICBT
    Resolves OCD

While most therapies for OCD focus on managing anxiety and compulsions, ICBT addresses the source: “obsessional doubts” about what could or might happen.
These doubts don’t come from what’s real. They’re built on faulty reasoning that’s rooted in imagination, not what your senses are actually telling you. When you understand how OCD reasoning is different from everyday reasoning, you can spot faulty logic, settle your thoughts, and return to what’s true.
Psychologists developed ICBT specifically for OCD, and research shows it’s effective for most people. Even if you feel like you’ve tried everything, there is hope.

    Common Questions

Does it matter what OCD theme I struggle with?

Not at all. This training is for anyone with OCD. ICBT helps you recognize and respond to any obsessional doubt at the root, so it’s particularly helpful for mental compulsions, which many Christians struggle to talk about.

    Is this group therapy?

No. Christians Learning ICBT is a online training. You’ll never be required to turn on your camera or share personal details.

Does it matter what denomination I am?

Not at all. This training welcomes anyone who identifies as a Christian and wants tools that honor their faith.

Is this a replacement for therapy?

It depends. Some people find this training is all they need. Others use it as a stepping stone before entering therapy—or alongside it to reinforce what they’re learning. If you’re in crisis or need intensive, personalized support, I recommend working with a qualified therapist in addition to this program.

How much time will I need to commit to the training?

Plan for about 60-90 minutes each week. Each module includes a video lesson (~45 minutes) and light homework (~30 minutes). The goal is steady progress without overwhelm.

Can I do this training while I’m in therapy?

Definitely! Christians Learning ICBT pairs well with therapy and can help you articulate what you’re experiencing more clearly. If you’re working with a therapist who isn’t familiar with ICBT, this can also fill in the gaps.

Will I have to do exposures?

No. ICBT focuses on living your normal, everyday life. Unless you’re avoiding everything, you’ll naturally encounter triggers in daily life. You can use ICBT principles to not give in to compulsions.

Is this safe if my OCD is really severe?

Christians Learning ICBT is designed to be gentle and grounding. That said, if you’re in acute crisis or have co-occurring concerns like substance use or an active eating disorder, I recommend you get more intensive support alongside or before starting the training.

What if I’ve tried ERP and it didn’t work?

You’re not alone. Many people find Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) triggering or unsustainable. ICBT offers a different path, helping you understand how OCD reasoning works, so you can step out of the cycle without having to confront your worst fears head-on. This approach is backed by research and works well for people who haven’t found relief with ERP.

Will this help if I’m also dealing with trauma or PTSD?

Many people with OCD also carry trauma. Christians Learning ICBT isn’t a replacement for trauma therapy, but it can be a helpful step toward healing.

How do I know if ICBT is right for me?

If you get stuck in “what ifs,” intrusive thoughts, or mental loops that feel impossible to break—ICBT may be exactly what you need. It’s especially helpful if you’re tired of fighting with your thoughts and want a new way forward.

    Can I ask questions?

If you opt for the live training, you can submit questions via email, and I’ll address them during the next live session.

    I live in ___. Can I participate?

Since Christians Learning ICBT is a group training program—not therapy—you can join from anywhere, including outside the U.S.

Will I have access to the recordings after the training ends?

You’ll have access for an additional 12 weeks after the training ends, so you can catch up on missed sessions or revisit anything you’d like to review.

Can I stay anonymous in the live training?

Absolutely. The live training is webinar-style, which means your camera and name won’t be visible to other participants. You can submit questions anonymously or by email if you prefer not to speak live.

    Is there a payment plan?

Yes. You can split the cost into three monthly payments. Any discounts will be split across the three payments.

Can I share the training with a friend or family member?

Each purchase is for individual use, but we love when friends or family members go through the process at the same time. If you want to support someone else, I recommend gifting them their own access.

    I have another question.

Please reach out to podcast@carriebock.com. I’d be happy to help you decide if Christians Learning ICBT is your best next step.
