Do you feel stuck in worry, obsessions, uncomfortable body sensations, traumatic memories, failed relationships or shame? Does your mind feels like it’s constantly running with a bunch of thoughts that won’t quit? Does your body feel so uncomfortable to be in? Do you feel like you’re fighting all the time?
Are you hard on yourself for being where you are at? I work with many clients who struggle with self-compassion, and this is usually one of the first things we work on together. It’s hard to heal from past or present hurt when you’re beating yourself up (often over things that happened to you, not things you chose).
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, I’m here for you. Living in a state of hypervigilance (being on the edge of your seat or waiting for the next shoe to drop) is exhausting to your mind and body.
